Background Information/Seeking: The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation seeks to expand the evidence base for effective public health policy and practice through investment in Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR). NNPHI is the administrative support office for PHSSR. Background Information/Seeking: NNPHI and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are collaborating to increase the use of evidence-based HIV, STD, and Teen Pregnancy prevention activities among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) youth between the ages of 12-16 years. Up to eight AI/AN youth serving organizations throughout the nation will be selected to participate in the 12-month program. Participating organizations will receive a $40,000 financial award, as well as professional development training and technical assistance for key staff that will work to increase the application and implementation of evidence-based HIV, STD, and Teen Pregnancy prevention education interventions in their community. Background Information/Seeking: On February 28, 2012, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Community Catalyst issued a Call for Proposals for the second round of funding under the Roadmaps to Health Community Grants program.
