As part of its work with the Healthy Farms, Healthy People Coalition, NNPHI will provide selected nonprofit organizations with awards of up to $7,500 to conduct a state meeting in 2012 focusing on opportunities for improving health through the intersection between agriculture and health. This award will be coupled with limited technical assistance and participation in a learning community of other organizations hosting similar meetings.

Presented by the Network for Public Health Law, the Public Health Law Webinar Series is a free, open monthly series focused on providing the public health community with practical knowledge on emerging topics. The series' next webinar, Learning about Health Impact Assessments, is scheduled for Thursday, February 16.

The National Public Health Performance Standards (NPHPSP) is a national partnership initiative that has developed National Public Health Performance Standards for state and local public health systems and public health governing bodies to assess and improve public health systems.
The NPHPSP webinar series features live bi-monthly webinars around public health accreditation, quality improvement (QI), and performance management. The webinar topic for Tuesday, February 21 is Building a Culture of QI in Your Health Department: A Roadmap to Quality.
