Membership Services
NNPHI fosters a learning community among its members through a bi-monthly newsletter, educational teleconferences and webinars, online resource library and the NNPHI Annual Conference. NNPHI promotes public health institutes with strategic national partners.
NNPHI Interest Groups
The National Network of Public Health Institutes is home to the State Health Policy Collaborative (SHPC). The Collaborative is open to all NNPHI members who are interested in sharing best practices and collaborating on key issues in health policy and fostering excellence in decision making. Participants in SHPC share innovations in national, state and local health policy as well as explore areas for collaboration on a product or activity of mutual interest. SHPC hosts several webinars a year as well as an in-person meeting at the NNPHI Annual Conference.
NEW! SHPC Workspace
The State Health Policy Collaborative announces the launch of a new collaborative workspace, a one-stop information sharing center where members can post resources from their latest policy activities such as briefs, forums and white papers, as well as post a calendar of events and share ideas.
To access the SHPC Workspace, click here. The workspace is intended to serve as a central online reference point for NNPHI members to share information regarding issues and efforts around their policy work. This online medium serves as an always-current news resource because information is updated frequently by participants. The workspace is the product of the work of the SHPC web presence workgroup who have led the effort to populate the workspace with a wide variety of resources on topics such as Health Reform, Chronic Diseases/Disease Management, Physical Activity, Nutrition and Obesity, Health Information Technology, Health Insurance, and more. Members are encouraged to post summary information regarding their efforts in these areas under the appropriate topic, with links to more detailed information.
