The Colorado Health Institute, a trusted and leading source of credible health information for Colorado leaders, is seeking a Senior Director of Research and Analytics. The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop research staff 
  • The ability to work within broad limits of authority on complex research projects 
  • Statistical knowledge in survey and data analysis 
  • Knowledge of health-related and population-based databases and research files (claims data, census data, survey data, etc). 
  • Expert data management skills, including a strong background in SAS 
The successful candidate will report to the president, serve on a self-directed team of directors, and supervise a team of research analysts. The candidate will direct in-house research and analytical work and also coordinate with external researchers and organizations. Job Description: 
ACHI seeks a Chief Operational Officer (COO) who will ensure that the Director concentrates his time and effort on strategic activities vital to the sustainability of the organization. As an integral part of ACHI’s leadership team, the COO will assist in creating efficient and effective operational plans within three core business areas: disease prevention/health promotion, health care delivery, and finance systems. The COO will oversee smooth integration of new projects and participate in the oversight of existing projects to ensure that objectives and timelines are met. He/she will manage day-to-day activities by supporting the Director in the fulfillment of the mission and vision of ACHI, providing resource management leadership, building organizational capacity, and operating as a catalyst for cross-functional learning. The ideal candidate will handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, mixing long-term projects with the urgency of immediate demands. He/she must also have the demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between the Director and staff and other external constituencies in matters related to operations. He/she must exhibit the skills necessary to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization. 
 
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are a Master's degree plus 5 years of management experience or Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of management experience. Salary is negotiable.
